Dr. Thatcher is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in the State of Arizona. She holds her Naturopathic Medical Degree (NMD) from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona. SCNM is a 4 year, accredited medical school. Prior to medical school, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Arizona with a minor in Chemistry. She worked as a Research Scientist at the U of A College of Medicine for 11 years which she truly enjoyed. During that time she was raising her young family using more natural methods. When she felt a calling for a career change, she knew allopathic medical school was not where her interests lie.  She found SCNM almost by accident and decided to attend a "Discovery Day" at the school. From the moment she walked through the doors, she knew that this is where she belonged. She is very passionate about Naturopathic medicine and feels blessed by the opportunities it provides for true health and healing for her patients and her family.

As a Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Thatcher enjoys being a true family doctor by treating the whole family from pediatrics to geriatrics with an emphasis on preventative care for optimal health.

She lives in Tucson with her husband, 3 kids, 2 laboradors and 2 naughty ferrets striving daily to improve lives by following the natural path.

Tucson Naturopathic Family Medicine strives to provide top-quality, compassionate care focusing on the principles of Naturopathic Medicine using safe and effective natural therapies with a strong belief in the body’s innate healing power while searching for the root cause of the disease and removing any obstacles to the cure. Each person is treated as an individual with unique challenges and responses to various aspects of treatments. The goal is always to use the simplest means possible to bring the body back to a healthy state and guide and empower the patient to be in control of their own health journey.
